They Said It
Head Coach Terry Fowler

On Georgia State: "Georgia State plays a three-two zone, sometimes in a matchup defense. They do a great job of defending, that's what they have hung their hat on with their new coach, Coach Hill, coming in. They have a former Freshman of the year in Jada Lewis  who is returning this season, and an outstanding transfer player from Texas A&M in the post, so they have great balance inside and outside. They are athletic, play extremely hard and give you multiple defenses. Thats the challenge.

On moving forward in the Sun Belt: The main thing is you have four games of data now. You know the things you need to improve on. We need to rebound the basketball. We have to do better on the defense side of the ball, one of the things we have hung our hat on since we've been here. Just get back to the fundamentals on that end of the floor, and cut down on the number of possessions we are giving opposing teams."
