THEY SAID IT
USA head coach Terry Fowler
Opening statement: "We ice cold and couldn't make shots to slow them down on their run. They got in transition. Jas Adams got going. They just started attacking and we missed shots. We weren't able to finish."
On taking over their hot shooting in the first three quarters into next week: "Hopefully we carry this over into next week. We missed some shots, we got into foul trouble and that messed up our rotation. This team (Coastal Carolina) made a lot of free-throws. They were 11-for-12 and shot 30 for the game. I know we were fouling down the stretch, but we only had seven attempts at the line."
On looking ahead to next week: "Keep going. We just have to keep going. There is no magic or anything. We have to keep going."
