THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Terry Fowler

On the change in Southern's coaching staff from previous years: "Coach [Carlos] Funchess is probably press a little bit more, not a lot more, but a little bit more than [former Southern] Coach Sandy Pugh did. He really wants to play an up-tempo style of basketball. There are still a lot of similarities in the things that they've done in the past, but he's brought a little bit of an extra edge on the full-court pressure defense."

On the toughness of playing Southern on their home floor during the series: "It is a difficult place to play. We haven't had a lot of success there. We just have to go in there and play our game. If we take care of the basketball, limit turnovers and don't give them easy transition baskets, we'll be alright."
