MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama women's tennis team will continue its fall schedule this weekend at the ITA South Regional hosted by Ole Miss.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:

Place: Palmer/Salloum Tennis Center, Oxford, Miss.
Field: Alabama, Auburn, Jacksonville State, LSU, McNeese State, Mississippi State, Nicholls State, Northwestern State, Ole Miss, Samford, Troy, Tulane, UAB, Louisiana Lafayette, ULM, South Alabama, Southern Miss
Match Times: Play begins Friday at 8 a.m.
 
ON THE COURT FOR THE JAGUARS
-Yu Fujioka (So., Funabashi, Japan)
-Alexandria Stiteler (Sr., Bradenton, Fla.)
-Milka Pasanen (So., Pieksämäki, Finland)
 
NOTES
-Stiteler will be making her first fall appearance of the season
-Stiteler went 17-3 last spring and 21-8 overall in 2017-18 to earn First Team all-Sun Belt Conference honors
-Pasanen and Fujioka were named flight champions in both singles and doubles last weekend at the Samford Fall Round Robin
-Pasanen and Fujioka went 3-0 in doubles together, and Pasanen went 2-1 in singles
-Fujioka posted a 3-0 mark in singles, winning her last two matches after dropping the first set

-On this weekend's tournament: "I feel good. I think we've been getting better and better each day and each week. We're not where we want to be yet but I'm looking forward to it. This is an important tournament and hopefully we can play some good tennis."
-On his expectations: "If they can get close to maximizing their potential or move in that direction, it's a win for us."
-On Fujioka and Pasanen building on last weekend's performance: "This will be a good test for them. They're off to a good start and hopefully they can keep it going."
