MOBILE, Ala. – After facing Louisiana State Sunday in her program's final meeting with outside competition this fall, head softball coach Becky Clark visited with "Inside JagNation" to record this week's installment of the official podcast of the University of South Alabama Department of Athletics.

Clark talks about how the fall season was structured for the program with nine newcomers making the adjustment to the collegiate level, the differences between practices during the fall and spring semesters, how she incorporates the team's strength and conditioning program as part of fall campaign and how she evaluated performances over the last five weeks.  The episode also features Clark discussing her start in softball while in middle school, how her time as a student-athlete at Mobile led her into the coaching profession and how she went about building the Jaguar program from scratch.

The only head coach in the history of USA softball, Clark has put together a 347-194-1 overall record the last 10 years while helping the Jags make four NCAA Regional appearances — advancing to the title game of each — and claiming three Sun Belt Conference tournament championships.  The 2011 Sun Belt Conference Coach of the Year, under her tutelage 40 student-athletes have received all-SBC recognition and 10 have been named all-South Region by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
