- Brandon Bridge tied former Jag Ross Metheny for the single-season touchdowns passing (15) record in 2014.

Bridge also set a new school record with four passing touchdowns in a game, which came on Nov. 28 against Navy. He went on to play in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl All-Star Game at the conclusion of the season.

Bryant Vincent
-On the depth at quarterback:
"Overall from top to bottom, I think this might be one of the deeper positions that I have had at quarterback in years. The thing we have is several guys who are capable of going out there and winning a football game for us. Each one of them possesses some really good qualities. They are all athletic, and can throw the football and throw on time. One of the biggest things it comes down to right now is experience. Cody provides a lot of experience, leadership and toughness, and we have some really good quarterbacks that have a chance to be really good."

-On the challenge of getting the offense to come together:
"The biggest challenge you face when you have a team that has multiple weapons is being unselfish and doing what the game plan entails depending on what we're seeing from our defense each week. The biggest thing is when you have multiple guys who can do things with the ball in their hands is getting them to fight together, be unselfish and be about the team. I think that's what we have in this group. They're about the team and they aren't selfish. They just want to win."

-On Cody Clements:
"Cody's pocket presence is really good. It's easy to go out there in one-on-one and seven-on-seven drills, but when you have live bullets flying he is really calm in the pocket and his presence is great. He doesn't panic and he sees the field extremely well."

-On Dallas Davis' strengths:
"Dallas is a guy who, from spring practice until now, has matured and gained a lot of confidence. I knew he was talented. He is tough and he possesses a lot of great leadership. He has really had a great summer and fall camp, and comes out here with a purpose to really improve his game daily."

Cody Clements
-On what excites him about the offense:
"There are a lot of things; we have so many playmakers on the outside and our offensive line is looking really good. There are a lot of positives. We have four running backs who can all go in and play and have the same effect on the team and provide an exciting outcome. I'm very excited about it."

-On making the transition from Alabama-Birmingham to South Alabama:
"It has been a whirlwind. There has been a lot of time going in to just getting my body ready to get back on the field. Ever since I got to that point, it has gone pretty smoothly. I'm just ready to get out there and play somebody else."

-On what he brings to the offense:
"I play with all my heart. I feel like I'm a good leader. I try to get the best out of everyone on this team and try to push us to a place that we haven't been yet."

Dallas Davis
-On his progression:
"I worked hard during the summer, and I feel like I have increased as a player and done some good things."

-On what he brings to the offense:
"I feel like I can lead us to a victory. I try to build the chemistry as much as I can."

-On earning the backup spot at quarterback:
"It really means a lot because it is starting to show that my work is paying off. I'm just going to keep going harder and try to improve each day."

-On mental preparation:
"You never know what is going to happen during a game, so I always have to be prepared to go in at any time."
