MOBILE, Ala. – No. 15 University of South Alabama returns to Sun Belt Conference play this weekend when it travels to No. 18/20 Louisiana-Lafayette, site of the 2014 SBC Tournament, for a three-game set.
 
The series begins Saturday with a doubleheader slated for a 2 p.m. start, with game two to follow at approximately 4 p.m. Sunday's finale will begin at 1 p.m.

USA (31-6) rebounded from back-to-back league losses at Texas State last weekend by defeating Southeastern Conference rival Mississippi State, 3-2, on Wednesday at Jaguar Field. USA is 8-2 thus far in conference play.
 
Louisiana-Lafayette (28-6-1) enters the weekend on a 13-game winning streak after league sweeps of Western Kentucky, Texas State and Georgia State, translating to a 9-0 SBC record thus far this season. The Ragin' Cajuns are 14-4-1 at home this season, while USA is 6-3 on the road.
 
ULL leads the all-time series with USA, 17-6, though the Jaguars have won three of the last four meetings after taking two of three in a league series in Mobile last year and defeating the Ragin' Cajuns, 1-0, behind Hannah Campbell's no-hitter in the 2013 SBC Tournament in Troy, Ala., last May.
 
USA is 3-2 versus ranked opponents this year.
