Game Notes

MOBILE, Ala
. – Following two shutout victories in Arkansas last weekend that propelled University of South Alabama women's soccer from sixth to second in Sun Belt Conference standings, the Jaguars will travel to Atlanta to face Georgia State on Thursday before hosting league-leading Western Kentucky on Sunday.

USA (9-3-2, 2-0-1 SBC) carries a three-game unbeaten streak into Thursday night's contest, which marks its first meeting versus the Panthers since 2003.

Preseason favorite WKU (5-3-4, 3-0-0 SBC) enters the weekend riding a four-match win streak and six-match unbeaten streak after starting the 2013 campaign 1-3-2.

A 0-0 tie at Tennessee breathed life into Western Kentucky, and the Hilltoppers have since outscored opponents, 8-2, and league foes, 5-0.

WKU has given up the fewest goals of any league contender thus far, but the Jaguars enter their third-straight weekend as league leaders in all offensive categories.

USA owns the best home record (4-0-1) in the Sun Belt this season and is 3-3-1 on the road.
