STARKVILLE, Miss. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced Thursday that the University of South Alabama softball program ranked 49th on the 2010-11 list of all-academic teams while seven Jaguar student-athletes were named NFCA All-America Scholar Athletes.

USA recorded a 3.278 grade point average to receive the nod.

Hannah Campbell, Meghan Collins, Julie Moss and Haley Richards, Morgan Druhan, Sara Hilton and Jenny Stevens were among the over 4,000 student-athletes from 707 different academic institutions that garnered recognition.

The award is given to any player submitted by a member coach who achieved a 3.50 GPA or higher during the 2010-11 academic year.
