KRUGER VICTORIOUS AGAIN AT THOMASVILLE INVITATIONAL

THOMASVILLE, Ga.
– University of South Alabama junior Dauw Kruger (Pretoria, South Africa) won another singles match and teamed up with freshman Parker Allen (Hot Springs, Ark.) for a doubles victory as well on the second day of the Thomasville Men’s Tennis Invitational.

Play will conclude Sunday. Kruger faces Blake Davis of Florida State at 10 a.m. while Allen takes on Owen Long of FSU at 11 a.m.

Kruger ran his singles record to 2-1 for the tournament with a near whitewash of Otto Lenhart of Valdosta State, 6-1, 6-0.

Allen fell in his only singles match of the day, 7-5, 6-3 to Andres Bucaro of Florida State.

In doubles action, Allen and Kruger lost their opener 8-2 to Bucaro and Long but rebounded with a 9-7 win over Takura Happy and Chidi Gabriel of Florida A&M.
