HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Due to inclement weather in the Hattiesburg, Miss. area, Wednesday's softball game between the University of South Alabama and Southern Mississippi has been canceled.

The decision to cancel the game was made around 7:15 p.m. with the forecast suggesting rain in the area. There are no plans at this time to reschedule the game.

The Jaguars will return to Sun Belt Conference action this weekend when they take on Louisiana-Lafayette in a three game series. The first pitch of the doubleheader is scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m. in Lafayette, La.
