Lawson finished fifth at the Sun Belt Conference Cross Country Championships Saturday, earning all-conference honors while helping USA to a third-place finish; it was the women’s best performance at the meet since the 1999 season.  The junior completed the 5k course in 18:07.9, one second off the season-best time she recorded in an individual victory at the Choctaw Open two weeks ago, collecting all-Sun Belt honors for the third time in as many years.
