Stevens - a native of Jackson, Ala. - was the second straight individual from the softball program to be named the Jaguar Female Student-Athlete of the Year at the Pete Tolbert Night of Champions.  After a two-year hiatus, she returned to the diamond this spring and helped guide the Jaguars to a 37-17 overall record as well as a berth in the semifinals of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament.  Stevens batted .298 with eight doubles, seven home runs and 28 RBI, and she also led the team with 51 runs, 29 walks and 30 stolen bases; the shortstop paced the Sun Belt in stolen bases.  Stevens earned her degree in biomedical science in May.
