Griffith was named Most Oustanding Player of the 2015 Sun Belt Conference Tournament, which the Jaguars won for the third time in four years last weekend. Griffith drove in five runs in four games, including three in USA’s 6-2 win over six-seed Louisiana-Monroe in the opening round with a home run that marked her 13th this season and 28th all-time. She set a new program standard in single-season homers with her 12th against Troy on May 2 and is tied with former Jaguar standout Christin Crocker for the most in history. The Centre, Ala., native earned her second all-conference nod prior to the tournament when she was named to the second-team at shortstop.
