Leitner went undefeated in three singles matches at the No. 1 flight, including a win over a top-65 player last weekend. Leitner dropped just three games total in his first two wins, 6-1, 6-0 over Zack Evenden of Florida A&M and 6-1, 6-1 over Furman's Alex Christ. On Sunday, he outlasted Benjamin Lock of Florida State, ranked No. 61 by the ITA, in three sets, 6-2, 2-6, 6-4. The win over Lock is Leitner's first win over a ranked opponent this season, and fifth over the last two years.
