Vaezzadeh racked up three straight-sets victories in singles at the Southern Miss Invitational over the weekend. He started the tournament with a near white-washing of New Orleans' Hossam Meligy 6-0, 6-1 and dispatched Laurynas Antropikas of Stetson 7-6 (7-5), 6-2. The junior wrapped up play at the rain-shortened tournament on Saturday with a 6-1, 6-1 win over USM's Vasco Valerde. Vaezzadeh is 5-1 this fall.
