Despite opening the Sun Belt Conference schedule with a loss at Middle Tennessee over the weekend, Ammons got of to a great start in league play with her sixth career double-double.  The Vicksburg, Miss., native finished the night versus the Blue Raiders with 11 points and a career-best 16 rebounds.  Prior to halftime, Ammons was just one rebound shy of tying her previous season best and two shy of tying her career high.  Of her 16 rebounds, 12 were at the defensive end of the floor.  She was 5-of-10 from the field and added three steals and one block.
