Paige Vitulli

Paige Vitulli, Ph.D.

Dr. Paige Vitulli brings over 30 years of experience in K-12 and higher education, including 25 years of service at the University of South Alabama—her alma mater, where she earned her B.S., M.Ed., and a Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Development. She is currently the Chair of the Department of Integrative Studies in the College of Education and Professional Studies, where she oversees programs in Hospitality & Tourism Management, Organizational Leadership, and Interdisciplinary Studies. Her academic contributions include numerous scholarly publications in arts integration, technology integration, teacher education, instructional design, and interdisciplinary learning.

As an advocate for nontraditional students, Dr. Vitulli co-founded the University of South Alabama’s Office of Adult Learner Services in 2018 and served as its interim director during its inaugural year. That same year, she was appointed the university’s NCAA Faculty Athletic Representative, a role in which she promotes academic integrity and serves as an advocate for student-athlete well-being across all athletic programs. She also serves as the academic advisor for all PASSAGE USA, (Preparing All Students Socially and Academically for Gainful Employment) students. Dr. Vitulli is an engaged community leader, serving on the boards of the Alabama Contemporary Art Center, the Executive Board of the South Alabama National Alumni Association, and as Corporate Big Liaison for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Gulf Coast. She is a member of the Mobile Chamber of Commerce. Her academic contributions include numerous scholarly publications in arts integration, technology integration, teacher education, instructional design, and interdisciplinary learning.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Vitulli enjoys a rich variety of personal interests that reflect her love for culture and the natural world. She is an avid cook and adventurous eater, especially fond of Italian cuisine and Gulf Coast seafood. She enjoys kayak fishing along the Gulf Coast, traveling internationally, cycling scenic routes, and visiting museums and cultural sites.
