High School: Competed in distance events … three-time FHSAA Class 2A Region 1 qualifier … won district championships in the 1600 and 3200 meters and 4x800-meter relay as a senior … also won the 800-meter district title as a junior … posted personal-best times of 2:25.08 in the 800 meters, 5:22.76 in the 1600 meters and 11:25.66 in the 3200 meters.
