Katie Forage

Katie Forage joined the sports performance staff in September 2022.

Before coming to South Alabama, Forage was an assistant Sports Performance Coach at Weber State. During her time in Ogden, Utah, she oversaw sports performance for women’s soccer and track & field (excluding distance). Forage was also an assistant with sports performance for the football program.

Prior to Weber State, Forage was a strength and conditioning graduate assistant with Southern Utah from January to December 2021 where she worked with the football team. Prior to that, she spent time at the University of Arizona as a strength and conditioning intern working with the Wildcat football team from January to December 2020.

Forage has her bachelors of science in sports science and performance programming from Arizona State . She then went on to get her masters of science in sports conditioning and performance from Southern Utah.

Forage is a certified strength and conditioning coach (CSCS) with the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Forage was born in Hawaii and spent her early childhood there, before moving to Tucson, Ariz., which she considers home.
