2015: Started three times in 13 appearances… Earned starting assignments against Mississippi State (8/21), South Florida (9/4) and Louisiana-Monroe (10/4)… Assisted on goal in win over ULM, and put an attempt on net.

2014: Made 20 appearances and started final 18 games… Led defense that posted school-record 12 shutouts… Defense held eight opponents to single-digit shots, including seven total in back-to-back victories over Southern Miss (9/5) and Southern (9/7)… Assisted on match-winning goal vs. Georgia State (10/19)… Put shot on goal vs. Southern.

2013: Appeared in 21 matches, starting 16 times… Placed three of her seven shots on frame for a .429 shots-on-goal percentage.

High School: Won the 800- and 1,500-meters while competing in cross country for St. Christopher’s.

Club: Played four years for Blackburn Rovers Ladies Reserves, helping her team reach the semifinals of the Nation Youth Cup… Also led her team to the finals of the Under-16 County Cup.

Personal: Full name is Emily Jane Farrell… Born on January 8, 1995 in Burnley, England… Daughter of Andrew and Marion Farrell… Is the second of three daughters… Father coaches professionally for Burnley and played for six English clubs, making 257 league appearances for Burnley…Uncle, Perry Groves, played professionally for 15 years, most notably for Arsenal, and sister played for Blackburn… Hobbies include, traveling, dining out, walking and sailing… Favorites – movie: “Schindler’s List”;  book: “Survivor” by Sam Pivnik; pro teams: Burnley FC and Arsenal; athletes: Aaron Ramsey, Jill Scott and Nemanja Matic; music artists: Blonde, Selena Gomez and Trey Songz; food: Indian and Chipotle; classes: art/graphic design… Likes soccer, shopping, interior design and drawing, and dislikes messiness and bad fashion sense… Listens to music and watches her favorite players on YouTube before a game… Best part of playing sports is the competitive side of the game… Would like to meet Richard Branson… Likes to shop for vintage furniture and clothing… Thankful for family and friends that are accepting and happy for her being in America… Goal in five years is to have a house and car, play professionally and vacation, and in 10 years wants to have a family and enough money to experience the world… Three wishes: win an NCAA national championship, have everyone in her family healthy and on vacation together, and a fully-loaded Range Rover 204S.
