Adrian Cabado

Adrian Cabado joined the South Alabama soccer staff in spring of 2023, joining the Jaguars staff as the goalkeepers coach. He comes to South after spending three seasons as a Graduate Assistant Coach at William Carey, where he worked with goalkeepers. At William Carey, he was part of a coaching staff that was named the United Soccer Coaches Regional Coaching Staff in 2021 and 2022.

While with the Crusaders, he helped the team post a 57-4-4 record in three seasons and while being named NAIA National Runner-ups in 2020 and 2021.

During the 2020 season, he coached goalkeeper Sabrina Lang, who posted a .74 GAA and allowed just 12 goals, a William Carey record. Lang was awarded the Golden Gloves from SSAC and was an NAIA All-American.

In 2021, Cabado coached Jaina Eckert, who recorded a .64 GAA and posted 13 shutouts, earning her the SSAC Golden Glove award and being named an NAIA All-American.

For the last two seasons, Cabado has also served as a volunteer goalkeepers coach for the men’s and women’s teams at Jones College. At Jones, he helped coach the Bobcats to a MACCC Conference championship in 2021 and 2022. He was also part of the MACCC Coaching Staff of the Year in 2022 and the United Soccer Coaches Regional Coaching Staff in 2021 and 2022.

Cabado is also a partner and camp director for La Liga Futbol Camps, an organization hosting soccer camps in five states.

Cabado earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2019, a Masters of Business Administration in 2020 and a Specialist of Education in Interscholastic Athletic Administration in 2021, all from William Carey.
