2005-06: Coming off her second straight season-ending knee injury, Woodard returned to her all-conference form as a junior...she competed in all 29 games and started 27 of them...after a slow start offensively to the season, Woodard picked her game and recorded double figures 15 times, including a career-high 26 points twice versus Arkansas State (2/2) and versus Western Kentucky (3/4) in the quarterfinals of the 2006 Aeropostale SBC Tournament...the junior led USA in scoring nine times during the season and ended up ranking second on the club in that category with 11.7 ppg...she also led the club in rebounding at 6.9 per game and paced the team on the glass 20 times...ranked among the league leaders in scoring (14th), rebounding (10th), free throw percentage (4th - .772), and both offensive (10th) and defensive (11th) rebounds per game...in Sun Belt Conference play, the Memphis native averaged nearly a double-double per contest with 13.1 ppg and 8.1 rpg, while sinkin 81.9 percent (59-of-72) of her opportunities from the charity stripe to rank second in the conference in league games action...for her efforts, she was selected to the SBC Third Team all-conference team.
2004-2005: Played in 20 of 28 games for the Lady Jags as a sophomore before re-injuring her knee...started 17 of the 20 games that she played in...averaged 7.5 points per game, while also grabbing 4.6 boards per contest...recorded a season-high 18 points versus New Orleans (01/08)...had seven games of six or more rebounds, including a season-high 10 versus Belmont in the season opener...missed final six games of the season, including the Sun Belt Tournament, due to a knee injury.
2003-2004: Captured Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year honors after leading the team in scoring and rebounding (14.8 ppg and 8.2 rpg)... became just the second Lady Jag to ever receive the conference’s award for the top freshman, joining 1990 recipient T.R. Clement... selected as conference Player of the Week on two occasions (Jan. 5 and 19)... finished the year ranked in the top-10 in the conference in scoring (10th,14.8 ppg), rebounding (7th, 8.2 rpg), field goal percentage (5th.490), three-point percentage (1st, .423), blocked shots (9th, 0.73), offensive rebounds (6th, 2.95) and defensive rebounds (7th, 5.23)... was a first team all-conference selection joining Middle Tennessee’s Krystle Horton as the first freshmen since the 1996-97 season (ASU’s Julie Hagood, La. Tech’s Tamicha Jackson) to make the Sun Belt Women’s All-Conference team... became the third straight Lady Jag to earn an all-conference honor, joining Lyletha Gamble (2001-02) and Taneshia Russell (2002-03)... recorded five 20-plus point games and three 19 point games... scored in double figures in 17 of her 22 games, starting all 22... missed the final six regular season games and two postseason contest due to a torn ACL.
High School: Lettered in basketball at Memphis East High School in Memphis, Tenn.,... was an all-state selection as a senior, and was finalist for Athlete of the Year... led team to four district championships, three regional and sectional championships, and to the state final four her junior season ... three-time all-district and all-regional honoree... averaged 18 points, 11 rebounds, two blocks, and two steals her senior season ... also lettered three years in volleyball and twice in track. Club: Played for the West Tennessee Running Mustangs for six years, helped them to the National Sweet 16 three times, and to the National Elite Eight this past summer, for which she earned AAU All-American honors.
