JUNIOR SEASON (2008-09): Was the only Lady Jag to start all 32 games this season…Ranked second on the club in scoring and 11th in the Sun Belt Conference with 14.0 ppg…Was 69-for-179 from beyond the arc for 38.5 percent shooting…Her 69 treys are third-most ever in a single season at USA…Led the team in both assists (71) and steals (44)…Besides scoring, ranked among the league leaders in three-point percentage (seventh) and three-pointers made per game (sixth)…Was selected Second-Team all-Sun Belt Conference…Became the first Lady Jag since 2003 and just the sixth Lady Jag to earn all-tourney honors in the program’s history, joining Denise Adams (1986), Adrain Vickers (1987 and 1988), Orphie Moore (1987), Ella Williams (1989) and Taneisha Russell (2003)…In USA’s quarterfinal victory over Troy, Nettles was named the State Farm Player of the Game for the Lady Jags after finishing with 13 points and seven rebounds…Named to the GW Thanksgiving Classic All-Tournament team…Scored double figures in 24 games, while leading the team in that category 15 times…Had five 20-point games, including a career-high 27 points in a 69-68 victory at Arkansas State (Jan. 18)…Was 11-for-17 against the Red Wolves, including hitting 4-of-6 from three-point range…Connected on a career-best five three-pointers against both Houston Baptist (Dec. 2) and New Orleans (Jan. 31)…Had a season-high five steals in a 66-52 victory over Florida International (Feb. 11)…Hit a pair of game-winning free throws in a 66-64 victory over Southern Miss (Nov. 20) with 4.5 seconds remaining…Scored six of USA’s final eight points in just over a minutes time.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2007-08): One of three Lady Jags to start all 31 games in 2008…Led the team in scoring (11.0 ppg) and steals (47)…Her 11 points per game also ranked 21st in the conference…Knocked down 130 of her 317 field goal attempts (.410), including 24 three-pointers…Led the team in scoring 12 times, while also scoring in double figures in 17 games…Scored a then career-best 22 points in a 55-50 SBC victory over New Orleans (Feb. 27) on 6-of-10 shooting from the floor and 9-of-12 shooting at the free throw line…Also had 20 points five assists and three steals at Troy on Feb. 10…Ranked 13th in the Sun Belt in steals per game with 1.52 per contest.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2006-07): Saw action in all 30 games for South Alabama as a true freshman…Averaged 3.4 points per game and 2.2 rebounds per game, averaging 15. 3 minutes per game…Scored a season-high 18 points on the road against nationally ranked Middle Tennessee (Feb. 3)…Knocked down seven of her 12 shots from the floor against the Blue Raiders…Also had 11 points in the Sun Belt Tournament against MTSU (March 3).
AT BAKER HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered four years at Baker High School in Mobile...As a senior, led the Hornets to a 27-5 record and a trip to the AHSAA Southwest Regional Tournament...Averaged 18.3 points, 6.8 rebounds and 6.1 assists during her senior campaign and ended her career with 53 straight games in double figures...Left Baker with school records in career scoring (2,076 points), rebounds (900), steals (581) and assists (521)...Honored as the Press Register's Girl's High School Basketball Player of the Year as a junior and senior...Was selected to compete in the 16th annual Alabama-Mississippi All-Star game...Was also one of three finalists for Miss Basketball in Alabama...Selected as the Kiwanis Club All-Sport Athlete of the Year...Was a two-time all-state selection (First-Team as a senior and Second-Team as a junior).
