Biography
2006-07: Came back from a torn ACL to compete in all 30 games for South Alabama, while starting 10...was 21-of-60 from the field for .350...averaged 2.0 points per game and 3.5 rebounds per game...ranked second on the club in blocks with 21...also recorded 20 steals...set a new career-high in points with eight versus Belhaven (Nov. 20) and at Southern (Dec. 9)...also tied her career mark for rebounds with seven on two occasions...was 4-of-5 from the floor versus Southern.
2005-06: Competed in the first 10 games of the season, until tearing her ACL versus Georgia Southern (Dec. 29)...averaged 3.0 ppg and 2.7 rpg before the season-ending injury...prior to the injury, Brunner ranked seventh in the Sun Belt in blocked shots per game at 1.07 per contest.
2004-05: Competed in 23 games for the Jags as a freshman...recorded a season-high five points versus Centenary (Nov. 27)...had a season-high five rebounds at UALR (Feb. 5).
High School: During her career at Thomasville (Ga.) HS, she lettered in four sports for the Bulldogs (Basketball, Softball, Track, and Cross Country)...named co-captain for the Lady Bulldog basketball team both their junior and senior seasons... as a senior, averaged 17.2 ppg, while also grabbing 9.4 rpg...helped lead Thomasville to a Final Four appearance in the State Tournament as seniors...a participant in the annual Georgia High School All-Star basketball game...as a junior, she averaged 11.9 ppg and 8.6 rpg helping the Bulldogs make the state play-offs.
Personal: Patriece Quollette Brunner...nicknamed “Triece”...has a twin sister, Shaniece, who is a member of the women’s basketball team at USA...she was an honor roll student and was named to Who’s Who Among American High School Students twice...she chose USA over Mercer and Appalachian State...Majoring in Sports Management.
