Biography

JUNIOR SEASON (2010-11): Played in 27 games, starting 10 for the Lady Jags…Missed three games due to a shoulder injury…Averaged 1.9 points per game and pulled down 3.3 boards per outing…Tied for second on the club in steals with 22…Led USA on the glass three times…Had 13 games of four or more rebounds…Best game of the season came against Louisiana-Lafayette (Jan. 30) where she recorded eight points on 3-of-5 shooting, while also pulling down five rebounds in 26 minutes of action…Grabbed a season-best eight rebounds against Troy (Feb. 17)…Named to the Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2009-10):
Started all but one of South Alabama’s 31 games…Averaged 2.9 points per game and 4.3 rebounds per contest – third on the club…Shot 70.5 percent from the free throw line…Also had 27 assists, 19 steals and two blocks, while averaging 22.1 minutes per game…Led the Jags on the glass 11 times, most by any player on the team…Pulled down a then career-high 10 rebounds against William & Mary (Nov. 27) at the Dave Cox Thanksgiving Classic in Seattle, Wash…Recorded her first double-figure scoring game of the season with 10 points against Louisiana-Lafayette (Feb. 13) on 5-of-7 shooting…Best game of the season came in the first round of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament when she recorded her first career double-double with a career-best 12 points and 11 rebounds…Was nearly perfect from the free throw line during the league tourney, hitting 10 of her 11 opportunities at the charity stripe.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2008-09):
Played in all 32 games, averaging 11.2 minutes per contest…Averaged 1.0 ppg and 1.6 rpg…Had a season-high 10 points on 4-of-4 shooting, and five rebounds against Mercer (Nov. 24) in 24 minutes of action…Had a season-high three steals in the season opener against Nicholls State (Nov. 14)…Named to the Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll.

AT CLAY-CHALKVILLE HIGH SCHOOL:
Lettered four years in basketball at Clay-Chalkville High School in Pinson, Ala…During her four-year career, helped the Cougars to 97 combined wins…Prior to her senior season, named the Clay-Chalkville High School Most Athletic Girl and was selected to the Birmingham News “Super Seniors” team…As a senior, led CCHS to a 28-7 record and a runner-up finish in the AHSAA 6A state tournament…Named to the 6A all-tournament team after posting 17 points in the championship game…Selected to compete in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star game…Named to the Birmingham News 2008 All-Metro First Team…Named to the Northeast Regional All-Tournament Team and chosen as the 6A Area 14 Player of the Year as a senior…Averaged 10.5 ppg, 11.3 rpg and 2.5 spg as a junior…Started for CCHS since her freshman season and helped CCHS advance to the 6A Northeast Regional of the AHSAA tournament with a 22-12 record during her junior season…Selected to the all-tournament team and was an honorable mention all-state selection as a junior…Was a National Honor Society member…Chose the Lady Jags over UNC-Greensboro and fellow Sun Belt member Troy.
