2005-06:  Competed in all 29 of the Lady Jags games, while starting 19...averaged 6.0 ppg while grabbing 4.3 rpg...ranked second on the club in rebounds...knocked down a career-high 20 points against Georgia Southern (12/29) and pulled down a career-high 17 rebounds versus Arkansas State (2/2)...had 17 points against Middle Tennessee on 5-of-7 shooting from the floor and 7-of-9 shooting from the charity stripe...ranked 14th in the Sun Belt in blocked shots per game (0.66).

Pre-USA: Lettered two years in basketball at Walters State (Tenn.) CC in Morristown, Tenn.,...averaged 15 points and six rebounds per game as a sophomore...earned all-region, all-Eastern Division and all-state honors as a sophomore, as well as being named a JUCO First Team All-American...helped lead the Lady Senators to a 31-5 record as a sophomore, after WSCC finished 22-6 during her freshman season.

High School: Lettered three years in basketball and volleyball at Hamilton HS in Memphis, Tenn.,...while at HHS, she earned all-conference, all-region, and all-district honors while also being named the Most Improved Player on her team...was named MVP for the Wildcats her junior and senior seasons.

Personal: Cortney Rochelle Brown...has two older brothers and one younger sister...cousin Pia Stewart was a four year letterwinner in volleyball at Alabama State...choose USA over Southern Miss, Fresno State and Boise State...majoring in Physical Education.
