FRESHMAN SEASON (2012-13): As a true freshman, was South Alabama’s top offensive post threat a season ago…Ranked third on the club in scoring, averaging 8.7 points per game…Also averaged 5.7 boards – 18th in the Sun Belt – and knocked down 48.7 percent of her field goal attempts, which ranked seventh in the league…Recorded double figures 12 times, leading the club in scoring on six occasions.…Had three double-figure rebounding efforts and led the Jaguars in that category seven times…Was USA’s leading scorer in SBC action, raising her average to 10.1 per game and connecting on 49.4 percent of her shot attempts…Posted 14 of her team-leading 21 blocked shots in league play…Recorded eight points on 4-of-5 shooting and a team-high seven rebounds in her first collegiate game…Pulled down a then season-high 11 rebounds - 10 on the defensive glass - versus Tennessee State (11/12)…Posted a then season-high 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting vs. Southern Miss (11/16)…Led USA with 10 points on 5-of-10 shooting off the bench versus UALR (12/22)…Had 11 points and seven rebounds off the bench at Louisiana-Monroe (1/3). AT GREENVILLE-WESTON HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered four years in basketball for head coach Curtis Stovall at Greenville-Weston High School in Greenville, Miss…Named to the Clarion Ledger’s Preseason Dandy Dozen – which is a list of the top 12 players in the state of Mississippi – heading into her senior season and was listed as the 21st best player in Mississippi by HSSports.com…Was also ranked ninth in the FILA Mississippi Class of 2012…Averaged a double-double for the second-straight season, recording 20.7 points and 16.7 rebounds per game…Was also a force down low on the defensive block, averaging 2.9 bpg…Recorded a 30-30 game against Greenwood, finishing the contest with 31 points and 32 rebounds to go along with three blocks and two steals…Named the female athlete of the year at GWHS, as well as capturing second-team all-state, and first-team all-district and all-conference honors as a senior…Guided the Honeybees to a perfect 8-0 district record…Averaged a double-double as a junior, recording 13.4 ppg and 15.3 rpg…Helped the Honeybees advance to the 6A championship game before falling to Horn Lake and ending the season with a 24-5 mark…Was the third-leading rebounder in the state of Mississippi in all classifications and was named the Delta Democrat Player of the Year…Averaged 3.8 blocks per game as a junior for GWHS...Had a then career-high 24 rebounds against Warren Central and scored 21 points against Greenwood…Selected to and played for the North Team in the Mississippi High School All-Star game held at Mississippi College…She chose to sign with the Lady Jags after drawing interest from Florida, Louisiana-Lafayette, TCU, Tulsa, Tulane, Southern Miss, Arkansas, Texas and Northwestern State…Also lettered four years in track and field at GWHS…Competed in both the discus and shot put where she was ranked No. 1 in the state in both events.
