AT MINOR HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-year letterwinner at Minor High School in Adamsville, Ala., for head coach Walter Hicks,,,Averaged 10.5 points and six rebounds a game as a senior, while also carding a 4:1 assists/turnover ratio...Helped the Tigers finish with a 29-5 record and advance to the state playoffs...Selected for the annual Alabama/Mississippi All-Star game...First women’s basketball player at Minor to receive a Division I scholarship...Was an all-area selection as a senior...Averaged 13.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game as a junior and led the Tigers to a 24-6 record…Helped Minor reach the Sweet 16 of the state tournament and finish with a 25-6 overall mark as a sophomore…Highlight of her prep career was scoring the game-winning basket against Bessemer City (Formerly Jess Lanier) during her sophomore season...Also lettered three years in softball and earned all-state honors as a junior...Played AAU ball sophomore and junior seasons for the Alabama Twisters where she averaged 15 ppg and had a 6 to 1 assists/turnover ratio...Played the one, two and three guard spots with the Twisters and her last season, helped them finish second at the Disney Wide World of Sports Showcase...Received interest from Penn State, Mississippi State, Austin Peay, UAB and Florida Gulf Coast.
