Freshman Season (2008): Saw action in 41 games for South Alabama, starting 18 at the second base and the right field positions... started the last eight games of the season at second base, where she recorded five of her 18 hits on the season... against Troy (May 3), she hit her second home run of the season, this one a two-run walk-off in extra innings to give the Jags a 4-2 victory over the Trojans... ranked fourth on the team in slugging percentage... recorded her other home run of 2008 against Bethune-Cookman (Feb. 24)... only other person to see time behind the plate in USA’s brief program history, recording three outs in the top of the eighth against Troy... scored 11 runs, hit three doubles and drove in eight for USA during her freshman campaign... missed part of the season due to a shoulder injury.

High School: Lettered all four seasons in softball as a designated hitter/catcher... member of three 6A state championship squads (2003, 2005, and 2007) at BHS... while at Baker, helped the Honeybees set the state record for wins in a season twice (79 in 2007 and 78 in 2005)... as a senior, she batted .364 with nine home runs and 55 RBIs... was a First Team All-State selection in 2007... also named to the Birmingham News “Super All-State Team” and the Press Register “Super 12”... The Birmingham News also selected her as their Catcher of the Year in 2007... during the summer after her senior season, she was a member of the Bama Gold team which won the Silver Medal at the 14^th Canada Cup International Fast Pitch Tournament... was an honorable mention all-state selection after batting .378 with 45 RBIs and 62 runs scored as a junior... during her sophomore season, batted .410 with nine home runs and 51 RBIs and scored 99 runs earning her First Team All-State honors... twice named to the all-state tournament team (2005 and 2007)... also lettered four seasons in volleyball and one season in basketball.

Personal: Favorite class at USA is Personal Health... has two older brothers and one younger brother... was a high school teammate of fellow Jags Kelsy and Tara Donaldson... favorite movie is Grease... favorite professional sports team is the Atlanta Braves... favorite food is chicken... favorite class is math... pre-game superstition is to knock on a piece of wood and carry one around... majoring in Physical Therapy.
