AT SOUTH ALABAMA
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2022)    
• Sun Belt Conference Commissioner’s List selection
• Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete honoree
• Appeared in one game in relief 
• Picked up her first collegiate win in that outing versus Central Arkansas (2/11) at the Tiger Classic

FRESHMAN SEASON (2021)    
• Sun Belt Conference Commissioner’s List selection
• Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete honoree
• Made 10 appearances in the circle with nine of those coming in relief    
• Lone start came in game two of the Sun Belt series versus UTA (4/18)    
• Finished the season with a 5.58 earned run average and a 2-2 record    
• Recorded seven strikeouts and six walks in her 21.1 innings of work    
• Also registered a save    
• Allowed one earned run or less in seven of her outings    
• Made collegiate debut with three innings of relief versus Kent State (3/6) in game two of a doubleheader at the Easton T-Town Showdown where she allowed four hits and struck out a batter    
• Picked up first win after tossing three innings of two-hit relief at Coastal Carolina (3/20)    
• Second win of the spring came at Texas State (4/11) with 1.1 innings of relief of no-hit, scoreless relief    

AT HEWITT-TRUSSVILLE HIGH SCHOOL    
• Lettered four seasons in softball at Hewitt-Trussville High School in Trussville, Ala.     
• Selected to the AL.com ALL-STATE TERRIFIC 20, which recognized the top 20 players from each classification at the conclusion of her senior season    
• Named to the team after posting a 7-0 record with a 1.00 ERA during the shortened season    
• Added 28 strikeouts in 35 innings of work  
 • Batted .400 at the plate    
• Honored as the Maggie Grace Bowles Softball Scholarship in April 2020    
• Earned second-team ASWA all-state honors as a junior    
• Led HTHS (44-15-1) to the AHSAA 7A State Softball Championship – the program’s first – as the Huskies defeated Sparkman (8-4) in the championship game as a junior    
• Recorded the final two outs in an elimination to earn the save and advance Hewitt-Trussville to the title game    
• The Huskies lost to Fairhope in the first game of the state tournament, but responded to win six games in two days to capture the title    
• Started 21 games in the circle as a junior, posting a 17-4 mark, a 2.34 earned run average and 97 strikeouts
• Tossed a no-hitter during the 16th annual Spring Sting softball tournament at Choccolocco Park in Oxford, Ala., that same season    
• Played 13 years of travel ball most recently competing with Tennessee Mojo Fastpitch    
• Also lettered three seasons in volleyball for the Huskies

• Born in Trussville, Ala.    
• Daughter of Scott and Leslee Hughes    
• Both parents are attorneys and her father is also retired after a career in the Army    
• Second of three children in her family    
• Has an older sister, Mollie and a younger sister, Karis    
• Plans to go to medical school one day    
• Majoring in biomedical sciences
