Lettered in softball for three seasons at Sam Houston High School in Moss Bluff, La. … Helped the Broncos to a 26-8 overall record and win the program’s fourth-straight district championship as a senior … Was a District 3-5A first-team all-district selection as a junior after picking up honorable mention honors as a freshman … During the 2014 season, Sam Houston recorded a 21-3 overall and 12-0 in the district to earn the district title … Posted a .364 batting average and a .532 slugging percentage during that season to go along with 25 RBI and 12 runs scored … Of her 28 hits, 10 were for extra bases – eight doubles, one triple and one home run. … In 85 plate appearances, she struck out just seven times … Helped the Broncos won the Louisiana 5A State Championship during her junior season … Has played travel ball for the Louisiana Bombers Gold Team based out of Lafayette, La., with fellow signee Hannah Smith … Also received interest from Lamar during the recruiting process.
