AT SOUTH ALABAMA
REDSHIRT-FRESHMAN SEASON (2022)    

• Sun Belt Conference Commissioner’s List selection
• Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete honoree
• Appeared in four games as a pinch hitter 
• Made collegiate debut vs. Dartmouth (3/4) at the Tennessee Invitational

FRESHMAN SEASON (2021)    
• Redshirted the 2021 season
• Sun Belt Conference Commissioner’s List
• Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete

AT UNIVERSITY LAB HIGH SCHOOL  
• Lettered four seasons in softball at University Lab High School in Baton Rouge, La.    
• Left program holding career records in hits, singles, home runs, total bases, stolen bases, batting average, RBI, walks, slugging percentage and on-base percentage    
• First player from her school to play collegiate softball    
• Recorded 107 hits, which included 59 extra-base hits, and walked 36 times    
• Batted .527 with a .601 on-base percentage and a 1.010 slugging percentage  
• Of her 107 base hits, 56 went for extra bases — 29 doubles, 12 triples and 15 home runs — for the Cubs    • Drove in 96 runs and stole 37 bases during her career  
• Named to the Louisiana High School Coaches Association All-Star East team 
• Hit a grand slam and a solo home run in the same game during her prep career  
• Played eight years of club softball with multiple teams, with the last as a member of the Impact Gold Holeman Premier based in Laurel, Miss.
• Signed with South after being recruited by LSU, Tennessee, Mississippi State and McNeese State

• Daughter of Chad and Anne Ogea    
• Has an older sister, Maddy    
• Father lettered three seasons in baseball at LSU (1989-91) and played professionally in the Cleveland Indians organization for six seasons    
• Mother was also a four-year letterwinner in swimming at LSU (1990-94)    
• Hopes to attend medical school one day and eventually become an orthopedic surgeon    
• Was a member of both the National Honor Society and the Spanish National Honor Society in high school    
• Majoring in exercise science
