Set the Guntersville HS pole vault record (14-6) despite picking up the sport late in his high school career ... finished second at the state meet in his first year competing as a junior and won the state championship as a senior... also a member of the varsity football team as a junior and senior.

Son of Jeff and Tina Morrison father Jeff was a football player and track athlete at Hines Junior College ... chose ORU over Grand Canyon, Mississippi State and South Alabama because of Coach (Joe) Dial's success with pole vaulters.
