2021: Started in all 20 of her appearances ... Netted four goals, two of which came in a 4-0 victory over Troy (10/15) ... Tacked on two assists, one of which led to a game-winning goal over Louisiana (9/26) ... Clocked 1,581 minutes on the pitch. 

2020: Joined the team in the spring semester and started all 10 matches … Notched a hat trick against Nicholls State in addition to a pair of assists (2/21) … The effort was the first hat trick in six years at South Alabama (Steffi Hardy vs. Arkansas State 10/25/15) … The eight points in a single game tied four other Jags, in the fifth spot on the single-game list, for most points in a match with the most recently previously accomplished by Tiara Smith Sept. 13, 2008.

Prior to South Alabama: All-conference second team in the American East (2019) and the all-rookie team (2018) at University of Maryland-Baltimore County.

High School: Played for three years at Col. Zodak Magruder High School in Rockville, Md., in addition to two years of basketball. Holds records for most goals in a season and a career.

Club: Played for four years at FC Bordeaux USA in Maryland as an attacking midfielder. Won the state cup championship in 2018 with a #1 ranking in the region, state and country in the same year.

Personal: Full name is Danielle Marie Fuentes… born Aug. 23, 2000 in Rockville, Md… daughter of Nohemi Fuentes… second of three children – Older brother and younger sister… Favorite – movie: Bring It On, book: Lord of the Flies, pro sports team: Barcelona, athlete: Neymar and Messi, music artists: Drake, Billie Eilish and Bad Bunny, foods: fries, pizza and pasta, classes: American studies… likes dessert foods and binge-watching shows while disliking the dentist and vegetables… would like to meet Steph Curry, Billie Eilish and Neymar… thankful for her family and the people in her life that helped and pushed her to be the person she is today. Would like to continue playing soccer in the future and eventually coach or otherwise being involved with a team
