Biography

2011-12: 21-16 overall record, 15-8 in dual matches… 1-0 at No. 2, 1-0 at No. 3, 13-8 at No. 4… 15 out of 21 wins were in straight sets… Advanced to finals of Crimson Tide Fall Championships before losing to Marko Lovrinovic of Alabama… Defeated Felipe Frattini of No. 53 New Mexico State 7-5, 6-3… Picked up his only win at No. 2 in straight sets 6-1, 6-2 against Jose Fantova of Jacksonville… 15-8 in doubles action… 1-0 at No. 2, 11-4 at No. 3… Won six straight in January and February at the No. 2 and No. 3 flights… Went 10-3 when paired with Daniel Leitner…The pair defeated the No. 3 duo from No. 53 Middle Tennessee 8-5 at the Sun Belt Championships.

2010-11: Will be sitting out the season after transferring from the Air Force Academy.

2009-10: Played in the fall campaign only for the Falcons… Compiled 4-6 singles mark and 4-4 record in doubles with partner Lance Wilhelm… Won at least one match at each of his three fall tournaments… Won back-to-back three-set matches at Baylor Invitational, defeating Vishnu Rajam of Rice 6-2, 6-7 (4-7), (10-8) and Calon Alpar of Texas A&M 4-6, 6-2, (12-10)… Claimed victory over David Flodberg of Northern Arizona 6-3, 2-6, 6-0 at the Lobo Balloon Fiesta Classic… Downed Cole Paterson of Weber State 7-5, 6-3 at the Mountain Region Tournament.

2008-09: Tallied 16-12 overall record in his freshman season… Went 11-9 at No. 2 singles and 1-1 at No. 1… Opened fall season with four wins in five matches, advancing to round of 16 at H-E-B Baylor Invitational and semifinals of Balloon Fiesta Invitational… Put together two four-match winning streaks during season… First streak was capped off by rallying for three-set win over Simon Unger of Weber State… Second streak came in March and all in straight sets… Paired with Austin Francis at No. 1 for most of doubles action, posting 8-15 record.

High School: Won four individual state championships at La Cueva High School in Albuquerque, N.M. … Only person in New Mexico history to win four straight state titles… Ranked No. 1 in the state of New Mexico and fourth in the Southwest Region... Won the Western States Open tournament... Member of National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society... High school tennis coach was Dick Johnson.
