Biography

AT MIDDLE TENNESSEE STATE UNIVERSITY

2007-08: As a freshman played number 4-6 positions in the singles lineup and number 2-3 positions in the doubles lineup for Middle Tennessee State... Teamed with John Peers to reach the semifinals of the Southern Intercollegiate in doubles... Biggest win of the season was against Christopher Racz of Tennessee... Singles record for the entire year was 9-15... His doubles record for the entire year was 17-15.

 

AT DEPAUL UNIVERSITY

2006-07: Redshirted as a freshman at DePaul University

 

AT GLENBROOK SOUTH HIGH SCHOOL

Prep: Lettered two seasons in tennis at Glenbrook South High School in Glenview, Ill... Was ranked second in the state of Illinois his freshman year and fifth in the state his sophomore year... Juniors/USTA: ranked in the top 150 in the country and top 15 in the Midwest... Represented Chicago in the Junior Davis Cup... Reached the finals of a National Open and the quarterfinals of the Super National Winter Championships, both in doubles... As a freshman was 33-9 on the year and reached round of 16 at the state tournament... As a sophomore was 31-7 on the year and reached quarterfinals at the state tournament.

Christopher Nowak... Has one brother, Conrad, who lettered in tennis at DePaul University, and then played professionally on the ATP tour, earning world ranking in doubles... Was recruited by DePaul, Michigan State, Indiana, Toledo, Southern Illinois, and George Washington out of high school... Favorite professional sports team is the Chicago Bears... Favorite athletes are Roger Federer and Pete Sampras... Majoring in Exercise Science.
