Biography

2015-16: Started 30 times in 33 games… Second on the team in scoring (10.4 ppg), and first in rebounding (7.4 rpg) and field-goal percentage (.505)… Fifth in the Sun Belt Conference in rebounding and field goal percentage, and 27th in scoring… Led team with seven double-doubles – tied for fourth in the league – and grabbed 10 boards or more 10 times… Scored 20 points or more three times, including career-best 24 with 11 rebounds in OT win vs. Texas-Arlington (1/16)… Went 13 for 14 at the free-throw line – team season highs in both makes and attempts – against UTA with three steals… Also hit 20-point plateau at Arkansas State (2/4) while recording new career-highs with 14 rebounds and six steals – both the highest totals by a Jaguar this season… Just missed a double-double vs. Georgia Southern (2/13) with 20 points and nine rebounds, shooting 6 for 6 from the floor and 8 for 11 from the free-throw line – the 6-for-6 shooting performance is the best single-game shooting total in 2015-16… Made all seven free-throw attempts vs. Spring Hill (11/30)… Recorded three straight double-doubles in December, becoming the first USA player to do so since March 2013.

2014-15: Started six times in 33 games… Averaged 6.0 points and 4.7 rebounds while shooting 49.7 percent from the floor, second best on the team… Recorded six double-digit scoring games, all 14 points or more… Posted three double-doubles, second most by a Jaguar… Had 14 points and 10 rebounds vs. Spring Hill (12/2), 16 points and career-high 13 rebounds at Arkansas-Little Rock (1/5), and 15 points and 10 boards at Troy (2/12)… Followed up double-double at UALR with personal-best 17 points vs. Appalachian State (1/8), and tied career high with 17 points vs. Texas-Arlington (2/14) after double-double at Troy… Shot 5 of 7 from the floor for 14 points at Louisiana-Lafayette (1/17).

2013-14: Played in 19 games with two starts… Averaged 2.8 points and 3.1 rebounds while shooting 45.9 percent from the floor in 9.8 minutes per game… Saw almost four minutes of action per game more during conference season and earned his two starts vs. Troy (2/22) and Louisiana-Monroe (2/27)… Made all five shots from the floor in his two starts for 5.5 points per game and grabbed six boards against the Trojans… Recorded all six points from the free-throw line vs. Houston Baptist (11/24)… Set new career high with eight rebounds in his next outing vs. Spring Hill (12/2) and added two steals and five points… Pulled down seven rebounds in just 13 minutes of action at Troy (2/6).

High School: Graduate of General Vladimir Stoychev Sports School… Played six years for club team Overgas Homeline in Sofia… Team claimed Under-18 national title in 2010 and claimed U-18 Bulgarian Cup the season prior… Overgas’ U-18 team finished second in 2011 and the U-20 squad also was also runner-up that same season… Averaged 21.1 points and 12.9 rebounds for Overgas during 2011-12 season… Reached double-digit points in 14 of 15 games with 10 performances of 20 points or more… Scored season-high 30 points on 12-for-14 shooting from the floor in season finale… Tallied 11 double-doubles, including four in a row to start the season… Grabbed 18 or more boards twice with high mark of 20… Played for Bulgarian U-20 national team at 2012 championships and averaged 10.0 points and 6.3 rebounds over seven games.
