2009-10: Appeared in 30 games with two starts… Averaged 2.2 points and 1.9 rebounds per contest… Earned starts against Sun Belt foes Arkansas State (1/9) and Florida Atlantic (1/28)… Set new career highs with 12 points and nine rebounds vs. Florida International (2/11)… First game with double-digit points came at Louisiana at Monroe (1/14) with 10 and added six rebounds… Hit game-winning shot at Florida (12/22) on a put-back with 1.8 seconds left… Totaled seven points and five rebounds vs. the Gators, setting new personal bests in both categories… Rejected two shots in season debut at Rice (11/14) and added two more in first career start at Arkansas State.

High School: Lettered for four seasons at Russell Wallace at Pickens County High School ... set the school record for blocked shots ... helped the Tornadoes to a 21-9 record last season as PCHS advanced to the quarterfinals of the state 2A tournament where it would lose to the eventual state champion, R.C. Hatch ... Averaged 20.4 points, 10.2 rebounds and 3.4 blocks per game, while being one of the team’s leading three-point shooters ... hit 56 percent from the field overall, including 34 percent from behind the arc, and also made 72 percent of his free throws ... in addition to earning all-state honors twice, he was named to the Tuscaloosa News’ Super 5 as a junior and senior ... was selected Most Valuable Player in the area tournament after scoring 20 points in a 67-40 win over Hale County.
