2013-14: Saw action in 22 games… Averaged 1.5 points and 1.1 rebounds per outing… Made both attempts from the floor and free-throw line vs. William Carey (11/18) for career-high six points… Matched six-point effort vs. Spring Hill (12/2) and pulled down three rebounds… Saw 12 minutes of action at Arkansas-Little Rock (1/9) and set new personal-best with four rebounds… Made three of first five 3-point attempts over three-game stretch early in the season.
High School: Graduate of Linton-Stockton High School… Lettered four years in basketball, football and track… Led basketball team to state runner-up finish in 2013 and football team to back-to-back state semifinal appearances in 2011 and 2012… Tallied 1,342 points and 766 rebounds in his career, both second in school history, and set new LHS marks for blocks in a game (six), season (54) and career (145), along with career free throws made (328) and games played (145), and field goal percentage in a season (70.9%)… Named The Herald-Times (Ind.) Area Co-Player of the Year and to the All-Area Team… Also earned Southwestern Indiana Athletic Conference Player of the Year honors and was tabbed to the all-sectional and all-regional teams… Scored fourth-most points in a 2A championship game—29 on 11-for-13 shooting—and grabbed 10 rebounds in loss to Bowman Academy… His field goal percentage (84.6) set a new state record in a 2A title game… Scored 28 points with 14 rebounds in the state semifinals to earn the Trester Mental Attitude Award, given to a senior participant in the state finals who best demonstrates mental attitude, scholarship, leadership and athletic ability… Averaged 20.9 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game as a senior… Linton-Stockton posted a 24-4 mark as a senior, earned their first 2A ranking in school history and won conference, sectional, regional and south semistate championships… As a football player, passed for 3,328 yards and 42 touchdowns as a senior—completing his throws at a 71 percent clip with only 10 interceptions—and led the team to its second straight semistate appearance… Paced the state in passing yards in each of his last two seasons.
