Biography


2017 (Junior):  Appeared in 60 games with 59 starts ... Batted .269 with nine doubles, two triples, three home runs, 30 RBI and 40 runs scored ... Hit .295 with seven doubles, one home run, 14 RBI and 20 runs scored in 30 Sun Belt Conference games ... Collected 14 multiple-hit and six multi-RBI games ... Made his Jaguar debut against Eastern Illinois (Feb. 28) ... Recorded career highs in hits (4) and RBI (6) and hit his first career home run in the second game of the EIU series (Feb. 18) ... Finished with three hits, including two doubles, and three runs scored at Georgia Southern (March 18) ... Recorded three hits and drove in three runs against Georgia State (March 26) ... Tied a career high in hits (4) in game two at Appalachian State (May 13) ... Did not commit an error in the final 15 games of the season.

Junior College:  Finished 4-0 in 14 appearances with seven starts as a sophomore … Struck out 44 batters and issued 12 walks with a 5.32 ERA in 44 innings pitched … Went 4-1 in 15 appearances, six of which were starts, with one complete game as a freshman… Struck out 37 batters against 13 walks while posting a 1.61 ERA in 50 1/3 innings pitched … Also batted .256 with six doubles, one triple, 20 RBI, 15 runs scored and two stolen bases … Helped NFSJC capture the 2015 National Junior College Athletic Association JUCO World Series title with a 15-1 win over McLennan CC in Grand Junction, Colo.

High School:  Named first-team all-region by the Mobile Press-Register as a shortstop in 2013 at Spanish Fort HS, where he lettered for four years … Named first-team all-state by the Alabama Sports Writers Association as a utility player, as well as all-region and all-county as a senior while batting .327 with four home runs, 13 doubles, 19 RBI along with a 10-1 record and 1.89 ERA on the mound to help the Toros capture the 2014 5A state championship … Also helped SFHS capture the 2012 state title after batting .380 with 10 doubles and 15 RBI while posting a 5-0 record with a 2.01 ERA as a sophomore.
