Jaguar Highlights: Selected preseason first-team all-Sun Belt Conference by Phil Steele Publications, Athlon Sports, Lindy’s and Street & Smith’s ... Moved to defensive end in the spring, where he is listed as a projected starter.

As A Junior (2018): Earned second-team all-Sun Belt Conference honors after recording 51 tackles — including 10 behind the line of scrimmage — with four sacks and three additional quarterback pressures while starting all 12 contests ... Also named second-team all-league by Phil Steele Publications after ranking among the top 10 in the Sun Belt in stops for loss per game ... Paced the Jaguars in tackles behind the line and was second on the team in sacks ... Credited with a season-best seven stops including two tackles for loss in win over Texas State ... Also made seven stops highlighted by a sack against both Louisiana Tech in the season opener and ULM on Homecoming weekend ... Posted five solo tackles — two of those were behind the line of scrimmage — in season-ending defeat of Coastal Carolina ... Also credited with two quarterback hurries, one forced fumble and a fumble recovery ... Had five straight outings with at least one assist behind the line of scrimmage from Sept. 8-Oct. 11 ... Posted a season-best four tackles in home opener against No. 10 Oklahoma State, which included a sack of Mason Rudolph ... Matched that total each of the next two weeks in win over Alabama A&M and Sun Belt Conference opener against Idaho ... Was credited with a sack, adding a recovered fumble and a quarterback pressure in the matchup with the Vandals ... Recorded three stops — including a half sack — at Louisiana Tech ... Led the Jaguars with seven total tackles, including one for a loss of three yards, in win over New Mexico State in the regular-season finale that helped USA become eligible to participate in a postseason bowl ... Also had seven tackles with one behind the line of scrimmage at ULM ... Posted five stops win defeats of Nicholls and Georgia State, with a sack and a forced fumble in the Homecoming victory over the Panthers ... High School Highlights: Received two stars from Rivals.com, Scout.com and 247Sports.com ... A three-year starter and letterwinner at Stockbridge High ... Was twice an all-region selection ... Credited with 38 stops and one forced fumble his final season, posting seven sacks ... Helped the Tigers reach the semifinals of the state AAAAA playoffs while finishing 11-3 overall, which included winning the region title ...
