A native of Pleasanton (Calif.), Katie Bianco joined the South Alabama staff as the Director, Football Recruiting for the 2023 season.
Bianco’s duties will include facilitating the recruiting process through on-campus events, visits, and the game day experience for prospective student-athletes.
She comes to South Alabama from Auburn where she served as a graduate intern while pursuing her masters, before becoming the Assistant Coordinator of On-Campus Recruiting. She served in that role for one year before coming to Mobile.
A graduate of Huntingdon College in Montgomery (Ala.), Bianco played lacrosse before becoming a student recruiter for the football program. After graduation, she became an admissions counselor where she worked directly with softball, volleyball, and cross country and their recruiting oversight.
