Jaguar Highlights: Listed as the backup quarterback on the preseason depth chart ... Recorded 277 yards of total offense and accounted for three touchdowns as the Blue team’s only signal caller in the annual spring contest; was 19-of-27 passing for 226 yards and two scores, carrying seven times for a game-high 51 yards and a touchdown as well.

As A Sophomore (2014): Played in six games while starting two contests his first year as a Jaguar ... Was 38-of-59 passing — a team-best 64.4 completion rate — for 342 yards and a score, adding 47 yards on the ground ... Came on in relief late in third quarter at Arkansas State, going on to lead the team with a career-best 38 yards on nine carries ... Made his first career start the following week, connecting on 20-of-28 passes for 182 yards — all career-high totals — while catching a 28-yard touchdown pass to help lead USA to a win over Texas State, making the program eligible to participate in a postseason bowl game ... Shared the coaches’ offensive back award for his efforts against the Bobcats ... Also started the Jaguars’ contest at South Carolina, pacing the team with 151 yards passing after hitting 15-of-23 attempts.

Junior College Highlights (2013): In his only season at Butler (Kan.) CC helped lead the Grizzlies to a 9-2 finish, the region championship and a berth in the Graphic Edge Bowl en route to a ranking of sixth in the final National Junior College Athletic Association poll ... Was an honorable mention all-Jayhawk Conference selection after completing 156-of-257 pass attempts for 1,978 yards and 18 scores ... Added three touchdowns on the ground while surpassing 2,000 yards of total offense ... Recorded season highs with 25 completions, 42 passes attempts, 298 yards and four touchdowns in win at Fort Scott (Kan.) CC ... Completed 16-of-22 passes for 283 yards and four scores in victory at Blinn (Texas) JC ... Passed for four touchdowns for the third victory in a row against Independence (Kan.) CC, connecting on 8-of-14 attempts for 203 yards ... In win at Coffeyville (Kan.) CC, was 22-of-34 passing for 296 yards and four scores ... Finished 16-of-28 passing for 232 yards in the Grizzlies’ bowl game ... Sat out as a redshirt at Savannah State during the 2012 campaign.
