2024 (R-Jr.): Played in South Alabama's first-seven games and made five starts before suffering a season-ending injury ... made 27 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss on the year ... made a career-high eight tackles at Arkansas State ... tallied 1.5 tackles for loss in South's win over Northwestern State ... recorded a tackle in the Jaguars' win over Troy in the Battle for the Belt.

2023 (Jr.): Appeared in three games for the Jaguars in 2023 ... recorded one tackle for the year in South's 33-7 victory at Oklahoma State.

At Kansas State: Played in nine games as both a reserve linebacker and on special teams, coming away with 10 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, a sack and a pass breakup at Kansas … Tallied a season-high four tackles at TCU, which included his first-career sack… Had two tackles, 1.5 TFLs and a pass breakup against Oklahoma State… Also logged a pair of tackles against Texas Tech.
 
At Tyler JC: Played the 2021 season at Tyler JC under head coach Thomas Rocco... Named to Dave Campbell’s Texas Football All-Small College Team after totaling 45 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss and 11.5 sacks on the year... Led the conference and ranked fifth nationally in sacks, while he was 15th in the nation in tackles for loss... Posted a season-high seven tackles to go along with 2.5 sacks at Kilgore College... Tallied a pass breakup against Navarro College... Played with current Wildcat cornerback Justice Clemons and safety Kobe Savage.
 
High School: A four-year letterwinner at Mount Juliet Christian Academy under head coach Dan Davis... A two-time all-district and all-county performer who was named the team’s defensive MVP... Also participated in basketball.
 
Personal: Gavin Forsha was born June 5, 2002, in Nashville, Tennessee... Son of Randall and Kerri Forsha... Has two siblings, Nolan and Gwen... Father, Randall, played football at Middle Tennessee State, while his brother, Nolan, plays at Tyler JC... Also has a cousin that plays football at Vanderbilt and another that plays at Rochester University... Majoring in business.
