Summer 2013:  Batted .258 with five doubles, 13 RBI, 19 runs and seven stolen bases in 42 games for the Morehead City Marlins in the Coastal Plain League as a teammate of current Jaguar Hayden Jones.

2013 (Freshman):  Appeared in 51 games, 38 of which were starts ... Batted .302 with five doubles, two triples, 22 RBI, 30 runs scored and three stolen bases ... Hit safely in the first five games of his career, and recorded multiple hits in four of those contests ... Set career highs in hits (4), RBI (3) and runs scored (3) against New Orleans (2/22) ... Matched his career high in hits with a four-hit performance against UALR (3/23) ... Went 2-for-3 with a double, one run and a stolen base against Florida International (5/24) in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament ... Also recorded a 4.15 ERA in 4 1/3 innings pitched ... Struck out three and issued three walks ... Tossed two shutout innings at Louisiana-Monroe (4/28).

High school:  Lettered four years at Pell City High School in Pell City, Ala. … Named first-team all-state as a utility player in class 6A by the Alabama Sports Writers Association as a senior … Also named second-team all-Southeast Region by Perfect Game USA ... Went 6-1 with two saves in 79 2/3 innings pitched while helping PCHS capture a school-record 29 wins … Recorded 63 hits, including 14 doubles, two triples and a home run, with 37 runs scored and 18 RBI … Earned 2011 Underclass High honorable mention from Perfect Game USA as a junior.

Team USA:  Helped lead the Team USA 16-Under national team to a gold medal at the 2010 Pan American AA Youth Championships in Lagos de Moreno, Mexico … Batted .364 with a double, a triple, one home run, six RBI, two stolen bases and 14 runs in nine games while hitting safely in eight of nine contests … Also recorded multiple hits in four games, and drove in multiple runs twice.
