High School: Graduate of Newark East Side High School… Earned four varsity letters and led the Red Raiders to consecutive state championships as a junior and senior… Received First Team All-Newark, All-Group 3, All-Essex, Essex County All-Senior and All-Super Essex Conference American distinction from the Newark Star-Ledger as a senior after averaging 11.2 points and 10.5 rebounds per game… East Side went 30-2 and finished No. 2 in the state his senior campaign, taking the Essex and Group 3 titles while appearing in the Tournament of Champions final for the first time in school history… Earned all-tournament honors at the 2013 Newark Public Schools Tournament, pouring in 17 points with seven rebounds in the final… As a junior was named Second Team All-Newark and Essex County All-Junior, guiding East Side to a Group 3 title—the school’s first since 2002—and a No. 14 finish in the Star-Ledger top 20... Played three seasons for NJ Roadrunners AAU team out of Union, N.J.
