Biography

2007: Made 11 appearances on the mound... earner his only start against Ole Miss on March 20... posted an 0-1 record and an ERA of 3.54 over 20.1 innings... struck out 16 batters, while walking 11... his best performance came against the Rebels as he allowed just two hits in four shutout innings... had three strikeouts at Auburn and vs. Middle Tennessee and a pair on three occasions.

 

Junior College: Lettered one season at Okaloosa-Walton Community College in Niceville, Fla.,... helped his team to a fifth-place finishin the conference.

 

High School: Lettered four years in football and four years in baseball at Annandale (Va.) High School... collected all-district and all-region honors in both baseball and football during his junior year... added all-state honors to those for both sports the following year... Holds seven of the Atoms' football passing records and baseball’s strikeout, innings pitched and ERA standards.

 

Personal: Full name is Travis David Johnson... born January 1, 1985 in Sellersville, Va.,... has one older sister, Kelly and one younger sister Meghan... lists the Washington Redskins as his favorite sports team... chose USA over Louisiana-Lafayette and the College of Charleston.
