Biography

2007: Used primarily as a pitch-hitter during his freshman season... he played in 15 games... started at Auburn and at Wichita State (May 9)... had just three hits in 20 at-bats... also had two walks... one of his hits was a home run (three-run on Feb. 26 vs. Siena)... walked twice.

 

High School: Lettered his final two high school seasons at Satsuma... earned all-region and honorable mention all-state honors for the Gators... a first-team Dandy Diamond selection by the Mobile Press-Register in 2005... named honorable mention Dandy Diamond the following year...  selected as a 2006 Puma Preseason All-American.

 

Personal: Full name is Ryan Christopher McCrory... born December 17, 1987 in Mobile, Ala.,... lists the Boston Red Sox as his favorite team and David Ortiz as his favorite player.
