County Community College in El Dorado, Kan. ¨ Hit .412 (75-for-182) with 18 doubles, nine homers and 53 RBI in 53 games played ¨ In first game with the Grizzles, went 5-for-7 with four runs scored and four RBI vs. Cowley County (3/8) ¨ Hit home runs in back-to-back games vs. Arkansas-Fort Smith (3/18 & 3/19) ¨ Went 4-for-5 with two doubles and three RBI vs. Garden City (4/4) ¨ Hit a pair of homers, scored three runs and recorded five RBI vs. Cloud County (4/11) ¨ Recorded four hits in four at-bats with a home run and four RBI vs. Brown Mackie (4/20) ¨ Played primarily at third base, but also saw time on the mound ¨ Earned first team all-district honors ¨ Played on same team as fellow Jag Greg Johnson.
2006 (Nebraska): Sat out season as a medical redshirt after undergoing offseason shoulder surgery.
2005 (Nebraska): Began his collegiate career at Nebraska, where he participated in the 2005 College World Series ¨ Pitched and played third base for the Cornhuskers ¨ Helped Nebraska sweep Big 12 regular season and tournament titles ¨ Went 1-1 with a save and a 2.79 ERA in 21 appearances on the mound ¨ Hit .311 with one homer and 14 RBI in 28 games as a hitter ¨ Did the majority of his damage in the postseason, hitting .333 with a homer and nine RBI in 14 games ¨ Went 4-for-10 with five RBI in NCAA Lincoln Regional ... In Super Regional win over Miami that sent Nebraska to the CWS, went 2-for-5 with a homer and three RBI ... Went 2-for-9 at the plate in the College World Series ¨ Contributed 0.2 innings of shutout relief in CWS game against Florida (6/19).
High School: Lettered four years at Goddard (Kan.) High School ¨ A four-time all-state choice, three of which were first-team selections ¨ Selected first-team all-district four times ¨ Rated No. 51 prospect nationally by Team One Baseball entering senior season ¨ Was also a Louisville Slugger/TPX Preseason All-American ¨ Hit .556 with a home run and 10 RBI as a senior in 2004 ¨ In 2003, had a 23-game hitting streak and hit .534 as a sophomore ¨ Played primarily at third base and pitcher.
